What does a perfect day in NYC look like to you?
Sleeping in a little later than I should, then waking up, getting coffee in the neighborhood, and walking my dog. Hopefully, I am finding some inspiration somewhere - like a gallery, an antique show, or a vintage market. I love to dine al fresco, grabbing a table on the sidewalk, having a drink with my boyfriend, and sharing some delicious food.
You recently move back to New York after living in Los Angeles. What is your favorite thing about living in NYC? What was your favorite thing about living in LA?
My favorite thing about living in NYC is stumbling upon inspiration everywhere, walking 10k+ steps a day, and being close to family. My favorite thing about living in LA was surfing. It changed my life.

What makes emerging brands and vintage finds so special to you?
I don't love having the same things as everyone else. With vintage and emerging brands, the chances of that are far less!
How would you describe your personal style?
I would describe my personal style as inspired by another time, whether that's the 60's when I'm feeling more mod, or the 70's when I am being drawn to lace and drapiness. Sometimes I love the 80's too, with big shoulders and big clip-on earrings, but I'm always pulling inspiration from different decades.

What book are you reading right now?
I'm reading the heart wrenching memoir of Gisèle Pelicot, because she is a hero to women everywhere, and I admire her strength.
Where are you finding pockets of joy these days?
With my niece. She's two years old, and it's impossible to be in a bad mood around her. I also love soaking up any bit of vitamin D I can. If there's a patch of sun, you can find me basking in it.

What is the last song you had on repeat?
Been Thinking by Funny Weather & Little Dragon
What has been a favorite moment for you in your career so far?
Just the normal weekdays when I get to decide where to go and how to spend my time - the freedom of working for myself has been a huge highlight of this time in my life.

What is your favorite piece of furniture in your home and why?
Right now, it's the oakwood bookshelf that is a centerpiece in my living room, because it fits the space perfectly, and I got it at a local antique shop. But it's always changing.
What advice would you give your younger self?
You don't have to fit in. Just be you.

What are 5 things you always have in your bag, practical or not?
I always have a pen, a business card (yes, seriously), and a small size of my current favorite fragrance, sunglasses, and a punch card from my local coffee shop.
What is your favorite place you've traveled to and why?
Morocco has to be a favorite of mine - I'm dying to go back; it's like sensory overload in the best way. There or Tokyo - I guess I like being overstimulated!
